Prairie dogs are so numerous in these open range areas that shots come at anywhere from 25 yards and all the way out to 400 yards or more. Bring your favorite varmint rifle, scope and cases of ammunition.

The Cherry Ranch is in scenic Rio Blanco County near Meeker, Colorado . We are located right in the middle of the nation’s largest elk herd. Our success ratios are very high, Sometimes Bordering on Perfection! All of our hunting is done in GMU area 23 on approximately 10,000 acres private and private access. We at Cherry Ranch Outfitters offer “2 to 1″ or “3 to 1″ guide services for a limited number of clientele. This is a working livestock ranch, and therefore is easily accessible by motor vehicle, which is our normal mode of travel.
